We wanted to take a moment to briefly share a few of the strides that CMG has made with you during this tumultuous year that was no less challenging than the previous one. We are both thankful and fortunate to have such people in our Company that, together with our clients and partners, continue to grow and succeed during these times.
2021 is the 20th anniversary of the founding of Convergent Media Group. This year has been an unprecedented success for our team and Company in almost every respect, resulting from continued efforts made in three key areas: Growth, Operations, and Morale.
The overwhelming response from clients to the collaborative efforts of our team members has produced the highest revenue year in the Company’s history, at the same time doubling and diversifying our client portfolio. We have been delighted by the confidence our clients have communicated to us that resulted in this continued growth – we are appreciative and thankful for that!
At the end of the last year, we promised our people we are going to do the utmost to improve their experience. 2021 has seen CMG’s investment into team member education grow several folds compared to any previous year. Our expansion of the internal team member physical and mental health program has boosted individual and team morale and increased collaborative and social engagement. We are proud and humbled that our voluntary resignation percentages continue to be in the low single digits, despite the ‘Great Resignation’, especially in the high demand sector as ours is.
The future looks quite bright! We have been empowering our global scale approach with investments in operational development and technology that increased our ability to collaborate more effectively. Winning the Cannes Young Lions award in digital for the second consecutive year is a culmination of our recent doubling on investment into creative capabilities, positioning us stronger within our digital and video production roles.
As a team, CMG is delighted to share these breakthroughs with you, our partner, through our collaboration each day. As we had from the first day of our founding in 2001, we jealously protect brands we have been entrusted to support and are eager to engage to help you achieve your goals and exceed your expectations.
While we are driven to innovate and relieve the burden of the often-overwhelming workload that each of you faces, we acknowledge now more so than ever how personally important our relationships are to each of us in our daily experience. Especially now, when the nature of work itself has become seemingly more impersonal and distant than ever before. Please know that we are there with you and for you.
